How to Choose the Right Chastity Cage Base Ring Size

Choosing the right size base ring for a chastity cage is essential for both security and long-term comfort. Since the base ring encircles the dick and balls, holding the device in place. The wrong size ring can cause slippage, pinching, restricted blood flow, or discomfort that will cause you to give up. 

To select the right size, start by measuring accurately while your limp. Use a fabric measuring tape or a nonelastic string wrapped snugly around the base of the your “package” the dick and behind the ball. The loop should feel secure—tight enough that a finger cannot easily slide underneath, yet loose enough to avoid squeezing or cutting off circulation. Leave the string in place for 5–15 minutes to test for any numbness, discomfort or discoloration.

Convert the circumference to diameter (divide by π ≈ 3.14). Common ring sizes range from 35mm to 60mm in diameter. For most users, 40–50mm works well, I prefer 55mm, but I’m kinda beefy! This is why I Love FRRK…They usually always have a 55mm in stock and offer it. Smaller builds often use a 40mm, while average or larger frames prefer 45–55mm. If between sizes, choose the larger option for safety. 

Try the fit out, go through some daily activities or even some light exercise. An ideal ring fits snug when soft but allows one finger to slip between skin and ring without pinching or squeezing. It should not allow you to easily pull-out while allowing for normal movement. If possible start with adjustable or multi-size kits. Comfort over extreme tightness should be most important —long term wear needs good circulation and skin health. Always check for swelling or pain and remove immediately if issues or discomfort arise.

They come with eye loops or hooks for your strap or belt.. Then the next hurdle… should you go with a “round”ring or“Curved. I like the curved in 55mm, gives a little more room between my balls and bottom of the cage If you buy the same style locking cages from FRRK, you can leave the base ring on, switch cages with the greatest of ease… And always remember, life’s too short to play in one cage.
